Shrink plastic - Shop

Shrink Plastic is a sheet of plastic that has been heated and stretched in two directions until a thin sheet is formed.  Images can be stamped onto it using the stamp of your choice and a permanent ink (like stazon), it can then be coloured in, cut out and heated with a heat gun which will cause the plastic to return to its original form which will be much thicker and more solid. When you heat it with a gun it will curl in all directions and appear to stick to itself, it is important at this stage to keep the heat going as more often than not it will unstick itself if you keep the heat on it. The plastic has stopped shrinking once it stops moving, and you can then use it for embellishments or even for jewellery. If you want to punch a hole in it you will need to do this before you shrink it as it is very difficult to punch a hole in it when it is thicker. The only thing that I have actually found that will go through shrunk plastic is a crop-a-dile.
